Hi everyone
Here is my video on the Japanese Marbles. It is explaining using pushing and pulling of marbles. Pushing the marble to hit a stone and pulling the marble when you win it. It's a fun game if you want to try it sometime!

How can you stop the rolling?
Too stop the rolling you need to place a solid object that is bigger than can in front of the can and roll to see if the object stops it.
What are ways you can stop the rolling?

What are ways you can stop the rolling?
- by putting an object in front of it
- put a hole or a little ditch on the ground
- give it a little push so it will stop sooner
- blow it from the other angle
- step on it
- glue it on to the ground
- sweep it so it stays at the same place

Hi everyone
I have some questions.
1.How many different sorts of forces are there?
2.Which planet has the most gravity?
3.What are all the different uses for a force such as push and pull?

Hello Everyone,

Hey guys,
This is what I think the differences are between a small push and a big push on a can:
With the big push, you are using more force and when you release the can from you grip, it goes much further than with a small push. If you put something in front of it, for example a stone, it hit the stone and push the stone along with it and then stopped after a bit.
However, with a small push the can wasn't being pushed with as much force so it did not go as far and when the stone was in front of it, the stone only moved about a centremetre then it stopped.
Hope this is good and maybe helps you.
Cheers, Dylan.

Hello Everyone.
What happens to the can with different sized pushes?
When the can is given a small push with my fingers it doesn't go very far and it rolls slowly. It rolled that slow that when it stopped it actually started coming back to me. The forces pushed it back.
When I gave the can a medium push it rolled forward a little faster and rolled forward further because it was able to push through the air so there wasn't as much drag. The rolling of the can had more force or thrust than drag.
When I gave the can a hard push it rolled forward very fast and wasn't able to roll in a straight line. It rolled off the edge of the cement and hit the bricks and stopped. I think the force of the rolling was that great that it couldn't be kept straight. The more force the can is given the further it will roll.
Cheers Tania

Hello Everyone,
Run and stop suddenly. Walk and stop suddenly. Discuss the difference.
It is a lot harder to stop when running than walking.
My feet hurt when I stopped running and it didn't hurt when I was walking. I think the sudden force of me stopping jolted my legs causing my feet to hurt. When I was running the movement of my legs was going a lot faster than the air dragging me back. It took me a couple of steps to stop because I was going too fast for the drag to stop me suddenly. Where as with walking I could stop straight away as I was only going a bit faster than the drag of the air.
Cheers Tania

Hi Everyone,
Here are some picture of me pushing the can with a big force and a smaller force.
When I push the can with a small force what ever is is in front of it usually stops it but when I push it with a big force it doesn't usually stop it.
With a small push the can does not go as far as when you push it with more force.
To stop the can when you do a push with a lot of force you might need something solid like a bookcase, cupboard or fridge to stop it.
The reason you need something bigger is because there is more force behind the can.
With a small push other things could stop it such as a thick book.
Hope you like the pictures.

Hi Everyone,
Here are my thoughs about running and stopping suddenly.
It is harder to stop quickly while running because you are going fast and there is air pressure behind you, but if you didn't have friction you would not be able to stop.
When you walk and stop it is easer because there is less air behind you therefor you stop much quicker with the help from friction.
It is much easier to stop suddenly while walking because there is less air pressure behind you.
Hope you like the pictures.

hello everyone this is my game
my game is simple it is called hit and run.
you will need 1 big marble and 8 little ones. you both get 4 little marbles
you should place 1 big one on the floor between the middle of you and your mate.
the objective of the game is to role your little ones into your big ones. If your little one hits your big one you get 1 point.
the person with the most points win.
Players take it in turns to roll the small marble into the large marble, and you leave your marbles in the middle when you roll them.
part of the tactics is you role your marble in to block the midle and block the other play from hitting it.
sincerely Aiden

Hi Everyone,
Here are my thoughts about what would happen if we didn't have gravity.
If we didn't have gravity we would not be able to stay on the ground.
It would be really hard or impossible to pick grass up or stuff that grows on the ground.
I don't think it would be very enjoyable to be in the air all the time because you might not be able to go where you want or get your food when your hungry.

Hi Everyone,
I have a question.
Does anyone know why gravity is stronger at some places and not as strong at some places such as the moon compared to Earth??
Hope you can answer me.

Hi Everyone
Here is my game it is called ......
Blow master !!!!!
you will need:
four marbles
three big pieces of paper stuck together
hair dryer
1-4 people. 2 are the best.
what to do
draw a wriggle track with narrow bits and wide bit (but not to wide.)
put the marble right on the edge on one side of the paper.
Then turn the hair dryer on low and point it towards the marble.
try to stay on or near the track.
if your marble goes of the paper before it gets to the other end of the track bring it back and start again.
the one that was closest to the track and got both marbles to the other side wins!
(Rules: there are two rules 1. is that you have to get both marbles to the other end and #2 is that if the marble goes of the paper you have two start again)
(fun ways: make a few tracks and instead of using a hairdryer use newspaper to push it to the other end)

Hi Everyone,
Did you know that the gravity on the moon is less than the gravity on Earth because you float on the moon.
Gravity is at work any time you drop a book, step on a scale or toss a ball up into the air. It's such a constant presence in our lives. Gravity brings stuff down to the ground.
Without gravity we would always be in the air. If you you chucked something up into the sky and it would never come down!!

Hi everyone,
Here is a marble game.
This game can only be played if you have more than 11 marbles.
How to play: This is a two player game. You place your biggest marble some where on the floor, then you make a circle around it and then you divide your other marbles between the two players. You then you take turns at flicking the your marbles at the center marble. After you have run out of marbles you see whose marble is the closest, whoever is the closest is the winner. Hint: If your opponents marble is the closest to the center you are aloud to try and bump the marble with your own marble.

HI Everyone
I think this set will be fun to do. I can't wait to think of as many ways to move the marble as possible. Here are some ways i have all ready thought of:
1.Push
2.Pull
3.Role down a plank
4.blow
5.Pull paper out of underneath the marble
6. Use a sling shoot(rubber band)
7. Shoot with water pistol
8. Put in tube and roll the tube
