William 8

Hi Everyone,
Here are my thoughs about running and stopping suddenly.
It is harder to stop quickly while running because you are going fast and there is air pressure behind you, but if you didn't have friction you would not be able to stop.
When you walk and stop it is easer because there is less air behind you therefor you stop much quicker with the help from friction.
It is much easier to stop suddenly while walking because there is less air pressure behind you.
Hope you like the pictures.
From William.

  1. Good work, William. When you run, your body is providing a greater force to make you move forward so when you want to stop you have to use a big force. Walking uses a smaller force it is easier for you to stop.
