Friction and a heavy object

1st I pulled a crate on the concrete and it was easy to pull.

2nd I pulled a crate on some very rough concrete (it had rocks sticking out of it) and it got harder to pull.

3rd I pulled a crate on the grass and it was really hard to pull.
