The apple tree
Sir Isaac Newtons Tomb
A little cartoon
Hello Everyone!!
Here is some Info on Sir Isaac Newton.
Sir Isaac Newton was born in 1642 in England just 2 months after his father had died. After finishing school he went to Cambridge University as he wasn’t interested in going back on the family farm.
Newton used three laws to explain how objects moved. It all came about when one day he was sitting under an apple tree and an apple landed on the ground. He wanted to know why it went down and not up.
The First Law states that an object that is not being pushed or pulled by some force will stay still, or will keep moving in a straight line at a steady speed.
The Second Law explains how a force acts on an object. An object will get faster in the direction the force is moving it.
The Third Law states that if an object is pushed or pulled, it will push or pull equally in the opposite direction.
The moon’s a lot faster to orbit than the earth. The moon orbit’s around earth by the pull of earth’s gravity.
He Died 31 March 1727 (aged 84) (1642-1727)
