Tania 10
Hello Everyone,
Tug of War with gloves and detergent on the gloves.
I found that the detergent made the gloves very slippery, so I wasn't able to hang onto the rope very well at all. There was very little friction between the detergent gloves and rope and this friction wasn't able to stop the rope from sliding. I had no control over the rope and it didn't matter how much I pulled I was unable to hang onto the rope. I have learned that slippery surfaces have very little friction therefore things can glide over them easily. It didn't matter how big the force was I wasn't able to pull on the rope like I did without gloves and detergent.
Cheers Tania
